Fictional Gemstone | The Pink Panther Diamond

Pink Panther was a 1963 comedy film directed by Blake Edward , produced by Martin Jurow and starring David Niven and Peter Seller.

It is about the adventures of Inspector Jacques Clouseau (played by Peter Seller) and his attempt to locate The Pink Panther Diamond.

The story begin, when Lugash Princess Dala's (played by Claudia Cardinale ) father gives her a gift the largest diamond in the world, The Pink Pather. The diamond has appeared to be a pink panther. When Princess Dala is a young woman they seize her power and are eager to return the jewel.

The Pink Panther is a large valuable fictitious diamond which is the "MacGuffin" of the first film in the series. It is a diamond which gets its name from a flaw in its structure which is shaped like a pink-colored panther The title of the Pink Panther is supposedly a diamond containing a flaw on which image of the "leaping panther" which can be seen in the certain way. The camera zooms in the diamond to reveal the blurry flaw which focuses into the Panther.



It is the world's most famous pink diamond. The pink diamond shown in our photograph, valued at £7,500, as "The Pink Panther Diamond" .Agatha Christie wrote a book about it which was turned into a Peter Sellers film, followed up by a recently released new version, soon also on DVD
